SOFT BROWN: Soft Brown is a warm mid tone brown that is best used as a transition color. Soba vs Patina - I think they are similar, Soba is more pigmented and a darker gold. They give a completely different look on the eye. Soba looks beautiful when paired with Era, very pretty work appropriate look. Soba vs Cork - often compared as dupes but I could not disagree more. It is almost a muted mustard/camal color, if they makes any sense… not the most flattering color on some skintones. It is super pigmented and buttery. This eyeshadow has a lot more shimmer and luminosity than most other Satins. The pans with the snap top black packaging are $16 each, and the refill pans (without the packaging) are $6.SOBA: Soba is a “golden brown with gold shimmer”. MAC has two versions of these eyeshadows online at the moment. Would this be the most perfect quad ever? Inquiring minds want to know… Something tells me though… On the upper cheek bones = magical. I bet it’ll also be great as a highlighter, but I haven’t tried it yet. Goldbit, Tete-a-Tint, Kid and Uninterrupted It’s like pure pigment pressed into a pan, but it isn’t messy or obnoxiously glittery. All you have to do is lightly press your finger into the pan to pick up so much gorgeous shine that you’ll practically glow in the dark (but not really). She’s a golden beam of light on your lids. Goldbit, the solitary shimmer shade, is also a beaut. They’re pigmented, smooth, soft, and don’t even know the meaning of the word “skipping.” Any of them could easily become your go-to transition crease color. The three matte shades - Kid (technically, it’s a Veluxe Pearl, but it looks matte on my skin), Tete-a-Tint and Uninterrupted - blend like it’s what they were put on this earth to do.

It’s also why there are currently four pans of Kid in my cart… Unfortunately, the Throwback shadows (Kid, Uninterrupted, Tete-A-Tint and Goldbit) are all LE, so this is like their big comeback tour.

And the blush is Melon Pink from the MAC Padma collection. The lipstick is a mix of Skew and Shrimpton (two of the lippies from the #Throwback collection review coming soon). I’m wearing Kid and Tete-A-Tint in my crease, and Goldbit on my lids.
